Is Carbon Cleaning Agent suitable for all types of automobile engines?

Publish Time: 2024-11-18
Carbon Cleaning Agent is a chemical product used to clean carbon deposits in automobile engines. Carbon deposits are deposits caused by incomplete combustion of fuel and combustion of lubricating oil, mainly occurring in the engine's intake duct, combustion chamber, piston top and spark plug. Severe carbon deposits will affect the engine's performance, leading to problems such as reduced power, increased fuel consumption, and worsening emissions.

Applicability of Carbon Cleaning Agent

Carbon Cleaning Agent is usually divided into two categories: fuel system cleaners and intake system cleaners.

Fuel system cleaner:

Applicable objects: Add directly to the fuel tank to clean the injector, intake valve and combustion chamber.

Applicability: Applicable to most gasoline engines, including modern direct injection and multi-point injection systems.

Note: When using, add according to the recommended amount in the product manual. Excessive use may cause adverse reactions, such as abnormal combustion or engine shaking.

Intake system cleaner:

Applicable objects: Spray directly into the throttle or intake duct to clean the throttle, intake duct and intake valve.

Applicability: Applicable to traditional intake port injection systems. For some direct injection engines (such as diesel engines or some high-performance gasoline engines), intake system cleaning agents may not be applicable or require professional operation.

Precautions: When using, make sure that the engine is turned off and operate according to the product instructions. Avoid spraying directly into the intake valve or throttle to avoid damaging the components.

Applicability and precautions

Engine type: Carbon Cleaning Agent is generally applicable to gasoline engines. For diesel engines, especially high-pressure common rail systems, it should be used with caution. It is best to consult a professional technician or follow the manufacturer's recommendations.

Vehicle condition: If the vehicle has serious carbon deposits, it is recommended to perform preliminary cleaning before using the cleaning agent to avoid a large amount of carbon deposits falling off and clogging the oil circuit or filter.

Frequency of use: It is not recommended to use Carbon Cleaning Agent frequently. It is usually used once every 30,000 to 50,000 kilometers. Excessive use may affect the normal lubrication and combustion of the engine.

Carbon Cleaning Agent is generally applicable to most gasoline engines, especially the cleaning of the fuel system and intake system. However, some special types of engines (such as diesel engines or high-performance direct injection engines) must be selected and used with caution, and it is best to operate under the guidance of a professional technician.
